Elections

February 28, 2011 by Mel Cashen

The school has been very busy over the last week preparing for our school elections.  We had 7 candidates running and they have been writing speeches and networking in the play ground.

On Monday we listened to the candidates present their speeches and have had a couple of days to make a decision on who we feel will represent us best.

Today Terry from the AEC came to organise our election.

That was some election process – well done everyone! What will the successful candidates have to do?

Congratulations on your elections ! Our school is just in the process of running ours as well. Perhaps our student councils could work together on a project later in the year.

Thank you for your comment. We would love to organise a project together later in the year. Do you have the AEC help run your elections too? They did a great job with ours.
